We're a cherished local restaurant located in Skowhegan, ME. We opened our doors about 25 years ago and ever since, we've been delighting and serving our community with passion and enthusiasm. "been going to the Snack Shack for years. My go to is the Mixed Seafood Basket. Piled up high with fried shrimp, clams, scallops & haddock over a bed of fries! Very good serving! Everyone so welcoming! They have a self serve area for utensils, napkins, dipping sauces and condiments. Music playing lightly in the background. You can order take out, dine in or outside. It's definitely worth a travel to Skowhegan to enjoy the food, thank you!"

"Visited on a Thursday, mid afternoon. There was a few take out orders and two tables full in the dining room. The one thing we noticed was how clean the place was. Dining room was immaculate with even the vending machine/game? on wheels so it could be cleaned under. Once a table left, staff wiped down everything and even swept the floor in that area to keep it all perfect, well done!
Haddock pieces were very good and the onion rings were excellent. Portions were good and overall it was a great value."

"What a great place!!! I feel lucky that I was able to find this place before the closed for the year. What a great attitude of their employees at the register and what a service. I tried a few plates just to check their flavor and presentation and it was outstanding. I will happily come here everything time I can since I have enjoyed a lot everything about it. Clean and neat place which is a pleasure to dine in. Will go back to try a few more options before they closed......Thank you much."

Lunchtime, so it was pretty busy. Almost no wait to place an order, though, and the food came quickly.I had clam strips which came with fries. Seemed like new oil, so everything tasted fresh. And the breading on the clam strips was light and cooked very well. Right up there with the best I have ever had.My wife had a BLT. Quite good and with crispy bacon, which she likes and, as others have said, the wait staff was exceptionally friendly and, yes, the whole place is really, really clean.Highly recommend if you are looking for a good sandwich and fried food place.
